How do I find my size?

Every product page has a “Size Guide” link with measurements in inches. We recommend taking a tape measure to a piece you already own and love, then matching to our size chart. If you’re between sizes, our pieces tend to fit slightly relaxed — size down for tailored fit, true to size for the intended cut.

What if my piece doesn’t fit?

You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn item with tags attached. We pay return shipping. See our Return Policy.

How do I care for my NORTHFIELD pieces?

Care instructions are on each product page and on the garment label. As a rule: cold wash, gentle cycle, lay flat or hang to dry — and you’ll dramatically extend the life of any piece. For wool and cashmere, hand wash or dry clean only.

Where are NORTHFIELD pieces made?

We work with mills and factories in Italy, Portugal, Japan, and the United States. Each product page lists its country of origin.

When will sold-out items be back in stock?

Most styles restock every 6–10 weeks. On a sold-out product page, click “Notify me when back in stock” and we’ll email you the moment your size lands.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently ship only to the United States plus APO/FPO/DPO addresses. International is on the roadmap.

Do you offer custom sizing or alterations?

We don’t currently offer custom sizing. For alterations, we recommend taking your piece to a local tailor — most NORTHFIELD pieces have generous seam allowances designed for adjustment.

Do gift cards expire?

Never. NORTHFIELD gift cards have no expiration date and no fees. They can be redeemed in any amount toward any purchase.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your order ships. You can also visit Track Order with your order number and email.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. Guest checkout is enabled. But creating an account makes returns and reorders much faster, and lets you save your favorites.

How do I update my shipping address after placing an order?

Email support@shop.openinearn.net within an hour of placing the order and we’ll catch it before it ships. Once an order ships, the address is locked and we’d need to wait for the package to return to us before re-shipping.
